NIVELLES

Adding dimension to flatness. At the heart of this property lies this freshly renovated house. Taking into account the significant slope between the two main facades, it was essential to maintain privacy between the reception area and the garden. The topographic study of the terrain was therefore central to the aesthetics of this garden.

The house now overlooks a frontage with a completely natural character, with curved wooden retainers allowing the vegetation to emerge. The rear garden does honor to the architecture of the house by aligning itself with its main forms. The reflection of the facade is expressed horizontally through different levels and materials, breaking the monotony of this relaxation area. This dynamic composition also allows guests to communicate with each other regardless of their activity, whether sheltered or refreshing in the pool.

Zuun Green Space

Public landscaping competition for the Municipality of Anderlecht, where the preliminary project of the Zuun green space located on Rue du Zuen, near the canal, is represented. The main goal is to represent the key elements of a very natural layout inspired by the hexagonal shape. This shape allows passers-by to observe a homogeneous space where various hexagon reminders are present, both on the ground and in the visual field, in the soil as well as in the water. It involves a vegetal structuring allowing greenery to integrate formally around the project while maintaining an irregular aspect, warding off any form of monotony.

FOREST

Decorative project for a terrace using reclaimed materials. The goal was to make the most of the existing space to gain as much room as possible to create a cozy outdoor area for this city apartment. The challenge was to work with white-painted wooden pallets, serving not only as seats and backrests but also as coffee tables. A canopy pulled from the upper balcony provides shade for a small part of this sun-exposed space. All that was left to do was to add some greenery and decorative lighting to dress up this new living space and enjoy it both day and night.

ANDERLECHT

3D rendering of a small project in Anderlecht for which the owners wanted to create intimacy at the back of their garden through seating. This construction solution in light-colored concrete on two levels allows for the integration of a wooden bench and serves as a support element for a fence in the same material tones to create a reference point. The construction, being quite heavy, is lightened by vegetation composed of grasses. Meanwhile, the bamboo brings original verticality, allowing the wood to express itself visually through its trunks. The top of the fence is buried behind its vegetation, giving the illusion of infinity.

Restoration of a vegetal setting. Reconfiguration of a small villa in the heart of Dilbeek in Flemish Brabant. This renovated construction required the same treatment for its surroundings. It was an opportunity to incorporate a vegetal touch, allowing this 1960s architecture to modernize and adapt to its young owners.

LESSINES

3D Rendering of a preliminary project in Lessines, in the province of Hainaut. It involves a new construction around which the terrain was bare. There was a significant level difference between the base of the facade and the property line. Initially, the client wanted the intervention to take place around the house, leaving their orchard and vegetable garden as they were in the upper part of the garden. A retaining wall was therefore the solution, allowing for a view of the garden through the grasses from inside the house. A water feature in the form of a pond serves as a secondary reservoir, allowing water to overflow to enjoy its sound combined with the rest of the rural landscape.

This real estate project required an organization that is both aesthetic and functional, allowing each tenant to enjoy their own space. The vegetal decor consists of undulating shapes giving rise to "social bubbles" where pedestrians are invited to meet. These same shapes traverse the entire garden without regard to parcel boundaries, thus allowing residents the opportunity to contemplate this scenography even from their balconies.

The garden layout concept was envisioned around hospitality, the client's top priority. The goal was to create different living spaces to enjoy moments of conviviality. These spaces are complemented by plants offering different visuals, including a depth effect with a perspective of tall trees on the side of the house. Additionally, there are multi-trunk trees illuminated at night, capturing attention from the beginning of the corridor.
